Pyramid harness 05AA0068 links a Pyramid Apex or Platinum bill acceptor to a host controller over RS-232. One end plugs into the acceptor and the other ends in a DB9 serial connector, on roughly 6 feet of cable.
When you need it
Order it when your Apex or Platinum acceptor runs on 120VAC and talks RS-232 serial to the machine, a kiosk PC or a test bench. Pyramid lists this part in the Platinum manual and in the Apex accessory list. If your acceptor runs on 12V, use the 12V companion harness, Pyramid part 05AA0009.
