Description / Pyramid PRO-2 Portable Bill Validator Programming Tool
The Pyramid PRO-2 is a portable programming tool for Pyramid bill validators. Load a firmware file onto it from a Windows PC, then carry it from machine to machine and update Apex, Trilogy and Curve validators on location. No computer is needed at the machine.
How it works
- Connect the PRO-2 to your PC and use Pyramid's PRO-2 software to load the firmware file that matches your application, such as vending, amusement or kiosk.
- Unplug it and take it to the machine.
- With the validator powered on, plug the PRO-2 into the acceptor's 6-pin flash memory port.
- When the LED goes solid green the update is done and you can disconnect.

- Roll out new-currency firmware across a route without pulling validators or sending them out for service.
- Reusable: reload it and run as many updates as you need.
- Pyramid firmware for other countries and currencies can be loaded too.
