The MEI Talos T742-U5MUS is a Talos T7 bill acceptor from Crane MEI, set up for vending equipment and stacking up to 500 notes above the validator head.

It does not take $50 or $100 notes; choose a T8-series model if you need them. Customers can insert a bill in any of four orientations. The gear-driven transport and quick-release stacker are built for frequent service, and firmware updates go in by USB or a handheld programmer.
Replaces
This Talos model takes the place of the discontinued VN2742-U5M. The T7 family is meant to replace VN27xx validators. Before swapping, compare bezel position, stacker direction, harness and cabinet clearance with the unit you are pulling.
