With the MEI SCNRL8328M, notes that customers insert can be stored and handed back out as change or payouts. It is an SCR Advance module set up for multi-note escrow (MNE).
Spiral drum recycling does the storing and dispensing, while SC Advance acceptor technology handles validation. Communication is USB, and the cashbox is secured with a latch. The large L Box cashbox holds more cash between pulls. Remote firmware and note set updates keep it current without a service call. For operators, that means fewer trips to refill change, less cash sitting idle in the cashbox and quicker payouts for customers.
