With the MEI SCNRL8327, notes that customers insert can be stored and handed back out as change or payouts. It is an SCR Advance module set up for single note escrow (SNE) payout across two denominations.
Spiral drum recycling does the storing and dispensing, while SC Advance acceptor technology handles validation. Communication is RS232, and the cashbox is secured with a latch. The large L Box cashbox holds more cash between pulls. Remote firmware and note set updates keep it current without a service call. For operators, that means fewer trips to refill change, less cash sitting idle in the cashbox and quicker payouts for customers.
