What it does
A validator checks every note a customer inserts, rejects counterfeits and tells the machine how much credit to give. Settings and firmware can be loaded over USB. Bills can go in any of four ways, so customers rarely get a rejected note for inserting it upside down. Firmware can be updated as currency changes.
