The MEI BNF420 main module is the validating head of a Crane MEI BNR/BNF Advance recycler, here fitted with the F1 bunch feeder so several notes can be loaded at once. The feeder takes up to 50 notes, feeds up to 2 per second and dispenses bundles of up to 15 notes.
The bunch feeder lets a customer insert a stack of notes instead of one at a time, which speeds up larger payments at kiosks and self-service terminals. A recycler pays customers back with the same notes they put in, which cuts change-fund costs and the number of cash collections at self-service, gaming and kiosk locations.
